The FANUC aluminum welding collaborative robot is an integrated solution for welding systems, designed specifically for aluminum alloy welding scenarios. Its core advantages lie in human-robot collaboration safety, compatibility with aluminum welding processes, and automation precision.
1. Core Hardware
The robot body is the FANUC CRX-10iA collaborative robot, with a 10kg payload and a 1418mm working radius. It features 8 years of maintenance-free operation, and its collision detection function ensures safe human-robot collaboration. Paired with Fronius TPS/i welding power source and CMT (Cold Metal Transfer) technology, the low heat input reduces thermal deformation and spatter in aluminum welding, suitable for welding thin aluminum sheets starting from 0.3mm.
2. Key Technical Features
Wire Sensing: The welding wire acts as a sensor, allowing deviation of the workpiece (such as gaps or fixture errors in aluminum plates 0.5-20mm thick) to be detected without optical devices. The robot can automatically adjust the welding path, eliminating the need for aluminum welding rework.
Teaching Mode: During programming, the welding wire can automatically retract to avoid bending, maintaining consistent pull-out length, significantly improving the efficiency of aluminum welding path programming.
Wire Feeding System: Multiple feeders feed wire simultaneously, addressing challenges such as soft aluminum wire and long feeding distances, ensuring precise aluminum wire feeding.
3. Application Value
Suitable for small-batch, multi-variety aluminum welding scenarios, it can be quickly deployed without professional programming personnel. Additionally, leveraging the Fronius WeldCube system allows welding data monitoring and process optimization, balancing aluminum welding quality with production efficiency.
